If you are looking to up your game in the garden, there are a number of free community classes being offered around the Wasatch Front as well as down South over the coming months.  Here’s a look at the most recent offerings and I will SHAMELESSLY pimp out my own classes too!

Conservation Garden Park (West Jordan) Classes:

 I will be teaching “Advanced Waterwise Landscape Design” on May 18th and “Creating a Waterwise Landscape on a Budget” class on May 21st! LINK

Central Utah Gardens Classes (Orem):

They are also offering children’s conservation/ science learning classes.  Cool idea! LINK

Weber Basin Gardens Classes (Layton):

The best kept secret in Weber County- located on Highway 89 and Hill Field Road.  LINK

Utah Botanical Center Classes (Kayesville):

Utah State University’s research facility.  Utah State! HEY! Aggies all the way!  LINK

Ogden Botanic Center Classes (Ogden):

I think this is a sister site to the Utah Botanical Garden and it is also run by USU.  LINK

Red Butte Garden Classes (Salt Lake):

The premier destination botanical garden in Salt Lake and part of the University of Utah.  Red Butte has ties with many of the different “Plant Societies” so if you have a specialized interest in say, Bonsai, then Red Butte will have classes and resources for you. LINK

Southern Utah Gardens Classes (St. George

Everything is different down in Dixie!  Southern Utah Gardens understands the uniqueness of your conditions and can help you figure it out! LINK

Thanksgiving Point Gardens (Lehi):

Who doesn’t love a visit to this Gardener’s Utopia?  Thanksgiving Point partners with USU and offers a plethora of fabulous classes. LINK

Wasatch Community Gardens (Salt Lake County):

They offer classes on edible gardens, composting and even raising your own bees and chickens! LINK
